Services
At Sherwood Oaks we have full time Physical and Occupational Therapy programs and Speech Therapy as needed to help people gain strength to improve their quality of life and return home. Therapy is offered 5 days per week and is covered under most Medicare insurance plans.
A dentist comes to the facility routinely to provide onsite dental check-ups and cleaning services.
Podiatry services are provided every 61 days.
Optometrist visit every 90 days.
Laboratory service is provided by a local phlebotomist twice per week in the facility.
24 hour licensed nursing care is provided and includes medication administration, wound care, and the overseeing of medical care needed for each individual.
Pharmacy Services: Medications are delivered to our facility daily by our pharmacy.
We offer a delicious and varied menu. All meals are prepared onsite and delivered to residents in their preferred dining area three times per day. Personal preferences and dietary needs are evaluated on admission and quarterly for each resident. Fresh fish is purchased from local vendors.
We also have an Onsite Beauty Salon that provides cuts, colors, sets, and manicures.
We have housekeeping staff working 7 days per week. The facility provides an excellent cleaning staff who keeps the facility sparkling and smelling pleasant daily.

EMT/Emergency Services are provided by the Adventist Health Mendocino Coast located 10 minutes from the facility.
